Associate Therapist ACSW AMFT APCC
We are not looking for job seekers. We want changemakers! Sierra Health and Wellness Centers use evidence-based methods to accomplish restoration of families, relationships, and self-worth. By transforming the character, we give life back to the people who have lost it through substance abuse and mental health issues. -
Our inpatient facility houses 12 clients who receive specialized and personal care from our staff. Spacious and newly remodeled facility, located on 4 private acres of land.
Position available:

• Full-time (40 hours/week):Tuesday- Saturday

  • 2 units of supervision towards licensure,
  • Associates are able to claim their full 32-40 hour workweek toward their licensure

    • Performs journey-level professional casework and clinical services with mentally and emotionally disturbed clients
    • Assesses and monitors clients' behaviors while in treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse and dependency.
    • Works as a team member with other professionals
    • Participates in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences
    • Conducts individual, -family, and group therapy; interviews clients and relatives
    • Participates in collaborative treatment with representatives of other agencies
    • Prepares verbal, written, and statistical reports
    • Attends conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issues
    • Operates a personal computer and other office equipment
    • Communicates effectively with others in person and over the telephone
    • Analyze data, interpret directions, procedures and regulations, and develop appropriate responses
    • Perform job duties under stressful conditions
    • May be assigned some lead and special work coordination responsibilitiesEducation and minimum qualification:
      • Must possess a master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or professional counseling -
      • Must obtain an associate registration number with the Board of Behavioral Sciences - -
      • Must possess a valid Driver's License -

        Pay Range:
        • Annually: $68,162 - $100,152 -The posted pay range is a reasonable estimate that the organization believes in good faith it may pay for this particular job based on the circumstances at the time of posting. -This pay range is not a promise of a particular wage. -Pay may consider several factors including but not limited to internal equity, experience, specialty, training, hours/shifts worked, business need, and education.
