Responsibilities
Position Summary: The Surgical Acute Unit is a fast paced dynamic
nursing unit dedicated to providing excellence in surgical patient
care. The incumbent will use the nursing process to provide patient
care to a variety of surgical patients including short stay joint
replacements to complex abdominal surgeries. The ideal candidate is
self directed and able to collaborate with the multidisciplinary
team to achieve expected patient outcomes. Strong communication
skills are necessary to facilitate timely discharge of patients.
