Department:Home HealthShift:Primarily Days (United States of America)Type:Regular - Per DiemJob DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYThe Field RN works within the framework of a team providing skilled nursing care to patients in their home, following a plan of care established by the Physician, Admitting Nurse or Case Manager and in conjunction with the patient/family.POSITION QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Licensure/Certification:Current State of California Registered Nurse License required.Graduate of a school of nursing with two years experience as a professional nurse required.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required.* Must meet all DMV requirements listed below and have adequate transportation.Knowledge/Skills:IV certification documentation prior to employment or completion during orientation periodEffective communication skills in both written and oral forms in EnglishSelf-directed with good organizational skills*Note: Requires employees to drive at least once per pay period. Candidates must possess and supply proof of: a current CA Driver's License, a clean DMV printout and Auto Insurance coverage with a minimum of $50,000 per person/$100,000 per occurrence (or a combined single limit of $100,000) and property damage coverage in an amount not less than $50,000 per occurrence.
