- Opportunities for career advancementThe Behavioral Health (BH)
MA/LVN serves as the team coordinator for all psychiatry and BH
services for their clinic. They proactively provide a broad array
of clerical, case management and clinical coordination to clinic's
psychiatry and behavioral health services providers and patients.
They actively oversee patient flow, deliver direct care when
needed. This position reports to the Director of Nursing and works
as part of a team with the clinic psychiatrists, BH staff, medical
providers, and other clinic support staff to provide quality,
coordinated care to patients.MA/LVN
- Schedule new psychiatry and behavioral health appointments
- Screen new psychiatry referrals and analyze which patients need
County level of care
- Analyze how soon to get patients in to be seen
- For those patients needing County level care, coordinate with
local counties for referrals for severe/County level of care
patients. Assist patients with the County intake process as
needed.
- Manage and maintain psychiatry and BH referrals lists
- Interact with PCPs and their support staff regarding their
referrals
- Facilitate obtaining outside records for new psychiatry and BH
patients
Required Experience:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Medical Assistant certificate or LVN license
- Applied knowledge using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and
Outlook.
- Experience using Electronic Health Record.
- Sensitive to the health and cultural needs of Native Americans
and vulnerable populations.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
with other members of the health care team.
- Current CPR/BLS Certificate.
- Current and in good standing; CDL, vehicle insurance, and DMV
printout.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two years clinical experience.** Must have received or be
willing to receive the COVID - 19 vaccine before date of hire to be
considered for employment. This includes the booster shot, when
