Responsibilities
The Employee Health department is accountable for employee health and safety at the assigned facility. This role participates in implementation of program changes and work practices for continued quality improvement. Additionally, - provides coordination, planning, development, evaluation and monitoring of Hospital Compensation, Transitional Work (TWP) and Employee Health programs. - - -#missioncriticalWe offer the following benefits to support you and your family:

    Qualifications
    Minimum Requirements:
    • A minimum of 3 years healthcare experience required; one of which is one year of direct experience in risk management, workers compensation claims management, care coordination, and/or occupational/employee health (required).Exception: When staffing is experienced enough to support a trainee, applicants without the experience may be considered.
    • Current California RN License.Current BLS Certification
    • Special skills required include: strong verbal and written skills ; excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle conflict in an assertive and positive manner; ability to work independently; good organizational skills; knowledge of workers' compensation, labor code, OSHA regulations and other state and federal requirements.
    • Training and/or working knowledge in providing educational seminars / training (required).Preferred Qualifications:
      • Occupational Health Nurse -
      • Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree
      • Employee Health experience (preferred).
