Job Description:
Under the general direction of the Chief Financial and
Administrative Officer, The Financial Operations Manager provides
complex administrative, budgetary, financial, and academic support
to the Graduate Division. Performs complex budget/resource
analysis, including retrieving data from campus information
systems, organizing, validating, and analyzing data, and preparing
reports. The FOM manages graduate student awards and funding and
provides guidance on fiscal policies, fund balances, and fund
restrictions to the Graduate Dean, Associate Deans, and Chief
Financial and Administrative Officer as needed. The FOM manages
various fellowship funds including, Dissertation Research Awards,
Dissertation Year Fellowships, and External awards. The FOM
provides technical support in all financial areas and implements
processes to increase efficiency and improve financial reporting
tools for cohort funding, campus fellowships, external fellowship,
and campus-wide graduate student fee remissions and
reconciliation.
The full salary range for the Financial Analyst Supervisor 1
position is $71,100-128,700 annually. However, the expected pay
scale for this position is $80,000 - $99,000 annually. We base
salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education,
licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and
organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a
UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take
over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a condition of
employment, you will be required to comply with the University of
