Job Description:
The North State Building Industry Association (NSBIA), a
non-profit 501(c)(6) that represents the interests of the
residential and light commercial construction industry in the
20-county area of Northern California with primary focus on the six
counties of El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, Yolo, Yuba, and Sutter,
seeks an Executive Director (ED). The ED reports to a four-member
Executive Committee and a 19-member Board of Directors and oversees
a nine-person staff and occasional consultants, and the PAC. NSBIA
has two related entities who have their own staff, both 501(c)(3)
organizations, and the ED plays a limited oversight role in their
operations. Manages an annual budget that currently ranges between
$2.5M to $3M. Key duties include working in collaboration with the
NSBIA Board, related entities, state and national partners, staff,
and stakeholders to achieve the NSBIA vision of providing
education, promoting communities, and engaging in public policy as
it relates to the industry. The ideal candidate has a successful
record of nonprofit management and/or equivalent experience.
Position is based in Sacramento. Salary 175K to 225K DOE with
benefit package and bonus potential. Job offer is contingent on the
