Siemens Mobility US is looking for aspiring Engineers or Project
Managers to come aboard for a 10-12-week internship journey where
they will get exposure to what happens behind the scenes to make
the rail world go round.
During your summer journey with us, you will have the opportunity
to immerse yourself in the Bogie department where you will learn
how (Bogie project managers lead large scale projects that have an
impact in the way people use rail transportation today).

of people and goods by rail - including rolling stock, rail
automation, rail electrification, and service. We craft and
manufacture across the entire spectrum of rolling stock, including
commuter and regional passenger trains, light rail and streetcars,
metros, locomotives, passenger coaches, and high-speed trainsets.
Cities and Railroads also rely on us to provide traction-power
substations and electricity transmission, as well as signaling and
control technology for freight and passenger rail and transit
How does the Bogie department play into the big picture?
We are proudly manufacturing/delivering Bogies for our rail
vehicles in North America. No Bogies, no movement/Mobility ?.. Our

What you will do...
--- Assisting Project Management in day-to-day activities within
project phases of design, procurement, production and warranty
--- Assisting Project Management in managing the sustainable
implementation of changes within budget, on schedule and in the
--- Assisting Project Management in overseeing the day-to-day
operations of the project teams (consisting of Engineering,
Procurement, Production and Quality-Management) to ensure a smooth
workflow and project execution to obtain optimum effectiveness
--- Assisting Project Management with schedule, budget, risk,
opportunity and resource allocation management
--- Problem solving
--- Analytical thinking
--- Communicating technical concepts
--- Collaborative mindset
--- Ability to work independently as needed
--- Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering
- Mechanical, Electrical, Computer or similar from an accredited
college or university
--- Legal authorization to work in the US is required
--- Must reside or go to school near internship location (insert
--- Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0
--- Previous internship experience or relevant school projects
--- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
--- Ability to work on a team
--- Interest in learning about the rail industry - project
management, customer service operations, manufacturing, etc.
