Summary:
Meta is looking for a privacy professional to join its Privacy and Data Practices org, supporting the Meta Platforms, Inc. Data Protection Office (MP Inc. DPO) Program. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and potentially ambiguous environment, is skilled at navigating complex cross-functional initiatives and is excited to build standardization and key processes in support of privacy at Meta. Data Protection Officer is accountable for monitoring internal compliance with global data protection laws outside of Europe. The MP Inc. DPO will take on specific data protection roles or functions and partner closely with cross-functional teams across the organization to fulfill its responsibilities. In this role, you will help design and implement processes to support the MP Inc. DPO, including how the office will partner with local teams and cross-functional partners to ensure the office sufficiently demonstrates oversight over the company's compliance with applicable data protection laws.This is a highly collaborative role. Success will require strong cross-functional collaboration, excellent project/program management skills, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. The ability to thrive in ambiguity while bringing clarity and standardization to processes and functions is critical to success. You should be a team player who is comfortable challenging our existing ways of working and bringing a fresh perspective to our approach.
Required Skills:
Privacy Program Manager, Data Protection Office Responsibilities:

• 
  Work with key stakeholders to establish the processes by which the MP Inc. DPO will carry out its responsibilities. The office will advise on key decisions, assess the privacy compliance programs in place to comply with applicable laws, support escalations and respond to user and regulator inquiries. Key partner teams include legal, privacy operations, policy, and the Privacy and Data Practices organization.

  Drive accountability and key performance indicators to measure success and ensure that critical projects remain on track, manage dependencies, risks, and changes.

  Develop and implement methods and capabilities to define and measure the progress and success of programs in a standardized and consistent manner.

  Collaborate with cross functional teams to define timelines, and ensure execution of large-scale privacy program initiatives.

  Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and ensure user privacy is not compromised.

  5+ years experience with program/project management, operations and/or strategy.

  Experience building and iterating on complex processes that require both process and change management.

  Effective communicator with a track record of aligning cross-functional teams around a common goal.

  Proven project management, problem solving, time-management and organizational skills, and the experience to set strategic priorities combined with a demonstrated aptitude of delivering operational results.

  Experience to thrive in ambiguity while building new processes, maturing existing processes and driving standardization across teams and functions.

  $129,000/year to $185,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
