- Reports to: Planning Section Chief -
- Location: California (Various locations)
- Position Type: on-call
- FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
- Compensation: T he hourly rate for this position is
approximately $65.00 pr/hr depending on education, qualifications,
experience and work location.
- Travel: Regional or state-wide travel may be required Essential
Job Functions
- Provide and perform the following information, data management
services (GIS services), and tasks in support of planning,
environmental, and Operational needs prior to the Operational
startup.
- Develop data-oriented systems to meet the research team's
needs.
- Developing procedures, and policies for data management to
assist colleagues in performing data-related tasks, and networking
with our clients.
- Modifying data infrastructure to accelerate the processes of
data analysis and reporting.
- Establish a system to manage all Disaster Debris Operations
data and Hazard Tree Removal Operations data, including all project
related data requirements as specified by the Incident Management
Team, with Environmental Systems Research Institute compatible
software or as approved by Witt O'Brien's.
- Required to inventory, evaluate, and integrate GIS products or
data from our company or third parties.
- -Required to investigate the integrity of this data and
identify and resolve any discrepancies, with input from the
operations team.
- Investigate and highlight discrepancies between various agency
datasets, including GIS errors and Assessor Parcel Numbers
discrepancies to allow reconciliation of datasets.
- Repair coding scripts in data management systems as specified
by our company.
- Connect our data management systems to other agency's Automated
Debris Management System, allowing for real time updating of the
other agency's data management systems and any Public Facing
Map.
- Update parcel status after Right of Entry's have been received
and entered the Right of Entry collection tool.Minimum Job
Requirements
- Bachelors degree is required
- Live 50 miles from the job site.Work Schedule
- Urgent, disaster related needs may require extended hours or
