Your work will have real-world impact, and youll be supported in achieving your career goals.How will you make an impact?The ideal candidate for Thermo Fisher Digital Operations Manager has proven technical experience in implementing and leading all aspects of digital marketing automation journeys, campaign and related integrations using advanced automation tools (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Eloqua or similar). This role must have proven technical experience working in Eloqua & SQL server knowledge (or similar experience) and deep knowledge of complex customer journey architecture and related automation building. The role will architect and implement technical components of personalized digital marketing journeys and related tracking across email, SMS, and other related marketing automation channels.The Digital Operations Manager will lead and work closely with all areas of the marketing automation team to technically architect and implement marketing journeys, corresponding automation, and related marketing cloud functions. The role will lead the maintenance and implementation of integrated marketing tools. This role will also partner closely with the Analytics team to develop, build, supervise and complete various aspects of the digital journey.The Digital Operations Manager will be responsible for leading an outstanding data governance strategy while balancing the needs of multiple business and regional collaborators. You will build a differential advantage for the organization while crafting a more tried experience for our customers. You will have a passion for data, marketing, and technology to improve the overall customer experience. You will lead a team and have a great can-do and roll up your sleeves demeanor whereby you are comfortable building strategy and going into the details for perfect execution. You will love to deeply analyze data, derive insights, and deliver such insights in a business-friendly way that encourages cross-functional teams to adopt and act on recommendations.The ideal candidate has a deep passion and technical experience working building automated marketing journeys or drip campaigns to implement trackable, ROI-driving campaigns.Location: US RemoteWhat will you do?

  • Design and implement technical journeys and automation for automated digital marketing campaigns to drive existing and new customers.
  • Project Management skills for various projects related to the role
  • Experience developing and working with audience segmentation and marketing automation tools
  • Drive the development and use of sophisticated data-centric segmentation, audience management and targeting capabilities that drive improvements in channel effectiveness
  • Support success of Eloqua (or similar), ensuring marketing automation journey strategies are seamlessly carried out across campaigns.
  • Look at comprehensive campaign performance data to evaluate campaign automation, journey flows, and other areas for improvement/growth in addition to educating the team and advising on standard processes
  • Provides email execution and management of related activities, can include but not limited to maintaining email marketing promotional calendar and sending schedule, scheduling emails, and handling target customer lists.
  • Adhere to email list hygiene rules to ensure optimal deliverability and avoid blacklisting of our email database
  • Understands email technology and all the different data sources we have access to and how to best use data and technology to deliver incremental growth.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members on marketing automation tool enhancements
  • Support marketing automation reporting through activity data sharing efforts and optimizations
  • Support seamless connectivity and interoperability of full marketing technology stack
  • Build case and partner with collaborators to secure vital support and funding for projects on the roadmap
  • Partner with IT and data science teams at the Business, Group, and Corporate level to define business requirements and build scalable solutionsHow will you get here?
    • 7-10+ years of proven hands-on people leadership, experience in B2B marketing with demonstrated ability to lead customer relation management/customer data management
    • Minimum 5+ years of direct people management experience
    • Proven track record of successfully leading complex cross-business projects partnering with IT and enterprise teams
    • Strong business, technical, and data acumen required
    • Sophisticated knowledge of marketing automation systems, journey architecture, automation design, CRM systems, data feeds, and related standard methodologies
    • Experience with marketing automation tools (Eloqua or similar)
    • Experience with system integrations and APIs
    • Ability to learn new systems, coding languages, and data architecture
    • Strong interpersonal, project management, and presentation skills
    • Effective campaign/outreach reporting skillsOther knowledge, skills , and abilities preferred
