As the Senior Manager, Project Management Office (PMO) at Thomson Reuters, you will play a significant role by working closely with our senior leaders by assisting in the implementation of strategic business plans that support the company's continued integration of project delivery support to ensure consistency with our goals.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Senior Project Manager, you will:

  • Manage delivery of multiple projects simultaneously across a portfolio of markets and verticals
  • Manage delivery of the key project milestones to include formal customer-facing work products and approvals as required. Key project milestones may include:
    • Statements of Work (SOW)
    • Work Plans
    • Communication Plans
    • Project Timelines
    • Staffing Plans
    • Master Design Documents (MDD)
    • System Security Plans (SSP)
    • Data Use Agreements (DUA)
    • Pondera Requirements and On-boarding Process (PROP)
    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
    • Weekly Project Status Meetings
    • Customer 'Go Lives'
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders and key customer executive sponsors
      • Ensure and forecast key project milestones and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
      • Clearly communicate the progress of weekly/monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
      • Participate in regular Customer Success Team calls and work with sales and marketing teams as requested on varied capture and marketing endeavors
      • Record and track risks, issues, concerns, action items and works to ensure a timely resolution to Pondera customer's satisfaction
      • Safeguard organizational Human Resources and financial sensitive information from unauthorized usage and individuals

        About You

        You're a fit for the role of Senior Project Manager if your background includes:
        • A Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice, healthcare, business, government administration or closely related field
        • At least four years of experience in account or project management
        • Advanced knowledge and skills utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
        • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
        • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
        • Excellent listening, negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills
        • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to seek alternatives, new ideas, and/or approaches to problems, and develop and implement solutions
        • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical users, and make presentations
        • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels both inside and outside of the organization
        • Strong organization skills with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and meet agreed upon deadlines

          • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification through PMI
          • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
          • Six Sigma
          • Experience with PMBOK
          • Experience in Government social service programs such as Medicaid, SNAP, Unemployment Insurance, Tax and Revenue, Eligibility, etc.
          • Experience utilizing project management tools such as MS Project
          • High level technical skills related to cloud-based software, the Software Development Lifecycle, and Agile Development Framework
          • In-depth knowledge of state & local government
            • Experience managing SaaS project accounts
