General Profile:This position requires a seasoned all-rounder, with expertise in a technical discipline and specifically, hands-on knowledge and experience (> 7 yrs.) in developing RF device technologies, sizing markets, creating business plans with go-to-market strategies and comfortable with talking and presenting to customers (at a technical level about their product roadmaps).
Anticipates internal and or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvements. Recommends solutions to unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business. + Knowledge of 200mm / 300mm Semiconductor Equipment (2 - Working Experience);
+ Effective Presentation (3 - Extensive Experience);
+ Listening & Communication (3 - Extensive Experience);Key Responsibilities+ Responsible for market sizing activities in support of 200mm/300mm products with focus on RF market segments, marketing and business development activities
+ Analysis of market data to identify trends/opportunities, develop strategic direction from market information and creates compelling market analysis presentations
+ Recommends key areas for growth in new technology segments from a device perspective
+ Responsible for identifying key industry reports to support EPG sizing requirements, budgeting and aligning with internal stakeholders toward acquisition of same
+ Key point of contact providing RF sizing information as required to other Business Units within the company
+ Partner with management team, finance and other marketing functions (e.g. product marketing, product management, MarCom) to ensure that overall marketing function is effectively meeting the organizations strategic goals
+ Active contributor to technical articles, blogs and product collateral, as required on various market trends and/or products
+ Present market / technology trends and new product information at external conferences and to internal audiences as required
+ Present ICAPS marketing activities to internal audiences as required
+ 25% Travel (International and Domestic) to customer sites and external events as requiredFunctional Knowledge+ Regarded as the technical expert in RF device discipline in addition to one or more segments of the semiconductor industry
+ Demonstrates in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the functionBusiness Expertise+ Identifies trends based on external market observation and anticipates business and regulatory issues; recommends product, process or service improvements
+ Has experience in prior customer facing role Business Development or Technical Sales/marketingLeadership+ Has led projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution
+ Capable of identifying key projects based on cross or inter group collaboration that leverage the capability of the marketing team to the benefit of the BUProblem Solving+ Utilizes analytical skills to identify and solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business; applies conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions, source data and identify trends based on fundamental technology understandingInterpersonal / Communication Skills+ Proven ability to work independently, often negotiating with multiple stakeholders to ensure necessary inputs are obtained so that quality results are delivered on time
+ Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view
+ Clear and confident orator capable of presenting technical and non-technical topics to internal and external audiences
