customers.POSITION SUMMARY:Primera is seeking dynamic,
customer-focused leaders with an entrepreneurial spirit, who are
excellent multi-taskers and quickdecision-makers to serve as
Project Managers for residential cabinetry, countertop, flooring,
and window coverings of multi-unithousing. This key role is
responsible for managing projects from contract through the end of
the post-installation warranty period.The Project Manager provides
leadership to front-line field supervisors and other internal team
members on multiple projects formultiple clients. The ideal
candidate will have the ability to effectively balance the
customer's needs and internal field operationswhile maintaining the
successful completion of their assigned projects.RESPONSIBILITIES:+
Review project contracts, plans, and specifications, and contribute
organizational direction on the design, scheduling, possible cost
savings measures, and potential construction issues or concerns+
Define project scope+ Plan and coordinate all aspects of the
construction process, including internal shared resources and
material suppliers+ Develop new and improve existing standards,
templates, procedures, and guidelines+ Prepare and manage all
project documentation, including submittals, progress reports, and
billing documents+ Establish and grow relationships with internal
and external stakeholders+ Develop and manage project schedule and
ensure synchronization with the customer and other trades+ Identify
and define change scope and communicate cost impacts for change
requests+ Examine estimates, budgets, costs, and financial
reporting; interpret and analyze reports+ Provide feedback on the
progress of the project and budget to staff and management+
Effectively resolve complaints and issues+ Train and manage others
as needed+ Direct, coordinate, and motivate employees to achieve
goals and objectives under tight, demanding deadlines+ Travel to
project job site as often as the project requiresQUALIFICATIONS:+
5+ years of experience in project management and/or field
management within the commercial multi-unit housing industry is
required+ 1+ years of experience in estimation and/or operation,
preferably within the commercial multi-unit housing industry is
preferred+ Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business
or related field is preferred+ Excellent listening skills and
strong communication skills+ Creative and innovative approaches and
solutions on a project-by-project basis+ Effective participation in
a team environment with both external and internal teammates+
Proficient computer skills in Bluebeam software (read plans), MS
office 365 (communication), Smartsheet (for job scheduling), sales
CRM software, and internal company order management
softwareKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:+ Thorough product knowledge of
cabinetry, countertops, and flooring materials used for commercial
multi-unit housing+ Thorough understanding of cabinetry,
countertop, and flooring installation methods for commercial
multi-unit housing+ Thorough understanding of operational and
resource requirements needed to execute commercial multi-unit
housing successfully+ Ability to develop detailed project plans
with clear milestones and manage overall project resources to
successfully complete projects on time+ Understanding of project
cost drivers and demonstrated ability to work with other
stakeholders (i.e., purchasing, field labor+ managers,
design/estimating) to improve project profitability+ Ability to
read architectural, interior design, electrical, mechanical, and
civil plans+ Ability to read, understand and interpret contract
documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project
schedules+ Ability to create and manage possible change orders and
other communication with builders+ Ability to achieve goals and/or
targets with a sense of urgency, without direct supervision+
Ability to meet multiple deadlines within budget
