Status: Exempt Direct Reports: NoneFTE: Full-Time; 100% FTESalary
Range: $75,000 - $80,000, DOE POSITION SUMMARYThis position is a
key member of the Community Development Department (CDD) and works
with the CDD program staff to manage the organization's grant fund
development, including research, writing, submission, management,
and reporting. The position will help grow both the number of grant
funders and the amount of revenue generated through grant funding.
A significant element of this position is to develop and manage
workflow processes around fundraising to ensure CDD program staff
success. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONPrepare and compile
each grant submission, ensuring that the proposal is formatted,
packaged, and submitted in accordance with granting agency
requirements.Work in collaboration with CDD program staff to ensure
that program goals, funding needs, and strategy are incorporated
into all funding requests and submissions.Take the lead on writing,
information gathering, and submission of grants with support from
CDD program staff.Support CDD program staff with reporting,
including setting report timelines, support with writing, and
providing guidance on data needs for reports.Design and manage
workflow processes and procedures to ensure efficient grants
submission, tracking of deliverables and reporting.Manage grant and
funder tracking on Salesforce, including creating calendars, grant
and reporting timelines, funder notes, and tracking other
fund-related data.Coordinate with the Accounting department to
ensure grant funding is aligned with organizational income and
expense reports.Provide reporting and compliance review as
necessary during the life of the grant.Ensure the timely submission
of all grant reports.Research new grants opportunities and create
summary statements about potential fit into organizational funding
goals.ACCOUNTABILITYUnder minimal supervision, exercises

Exercises considerable latitude, however work is reviewed regularly
by CDD program staff, supervisor, and Executive Team to determine
alignment with organizational and programmatic goals and
objectives. Establishes project objectives and delegates
assignments.LANGUAGE ABILITYWell-developed written and verbal
communications skills to exchange technical and complex
information, particularly related to non-profit programs. Ability
to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and
maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to deliver
well-written documents and reports. Ability to speak effectively
before groups of customers or employees of organization.MATH
ABILITYAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units
of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and
interpret bar graphs.REASONING ABILITYAbility to solve practical
problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in
situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to
interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral,

Requirements:
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONSMinimum of two
years of experience in delivering community-based programs,
providing administrative support at a non-profit, and/or
fundraising and other development work. Experience in grant writing
and fund development work is preferred.Bachelor's degree is
preferred.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLSWell-developed written and
verbal communications skills to exchange technical and complex
information, particularly related to non-profit programs.Ability to
gather data, compile information and prepare grant proposals,
budgets, and outcomes for a wide variety of projects.Grant
management database, Salesforce, or other database management
experience.Good project management & organization skills. PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLSKnowledge of grants research and application
processes.Ability to write the story of Mutual Housing and CDD
programs in a compelling manner in corporate, foundation and
