Position Summary:The core responsibility of the Director of Sales is leading a team of Strategic Account Managers focused on retention and driving new business. You are an inspirational leader, results oriented and performance driven. Your approach is hands-on and believe in coaching in the field. You are an advocate of the company and your team and know how to work across channels to ensure every need is addressed. Your second nature is to prioritize, and act based on your leadership and sales intuition and experience. You are competitive and thrive in a fast-paced environment with large goals and ambiguity. This position can be located out of our Sacramento, Fontana, Paramount, Hayward, Phoenix, or Las Vegas offices. Performance Objectives:

  • Develop, execute and deliver results of sales strategy in assigned territory
  • Inspire and coach team of Strategic Account Managers in consultative selling and value proposition positioning with prospects and current accounts
  • Provide territory management data: forecasts, account management documentation, and activity reports to the management team providing basis for account/opportunity planning
  • Maintain relationships and executive contacts with current and potential customers
  • Actively oversee the recruitment, training, and development of qualified sales professionals.
  • Achieve financial targets by maximizing profits through pricing strategies and mitigating customer loss
  • Manage proposal negotiations and contracts with the ability to solve problems autonomously
  • Collaborate and communicate cross functionally at multiple levels internally and externallyQualifications Needed:
    • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Sales/Marketing or related field, or MBA, preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience managing team of 8-10 reps closing business and demonstrating ownership to all aspects of territory management
    • Strong experience with Pipeline Management and driving the sales cycle
    • Proven track record of selling against quota with experience closing new business
    • Business to Business and/or Business to Consumer sales
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Skilled with use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
    • CRM experience, experience a plus
    • Excellent organization and presentation skills
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Highly energetic, motivated self-starter
    • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
