the environment.This position will be in a Hybrid work environment
remote with occasional in-office meetings or visits to
campuses.Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Human
Resources, the Human Resources Manager supports the development,
implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of the following major
areas:
- Employee relations
- Investigations, complaints, and employment disputes
- Payroll administration
- Leaves of Absence
- Safety program
- Compliance with labor laws
- Accreditation surveys related to Human ResourcesPOSITION
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources.
- Coaching - able to motivate and suggest new behavior.
- Excellent verbal and written skills; the ability to communicate
complex information in a manner that is easy to understand for
laypersons.
- Critical thinking - able to identify an issue, explore and
evaluate relevant information; and integrate results into the
development of a resolution.
- Cultural Competence and adaptation - demonstrate commitment to
creating an inclusive open environment.
- Metrics & Analysis - management, utilization and analysis of
information.
- A basic understanding of laws applicable to California
employers, including but not limited to wage and hour, harassment,
discrimination, and protected absences.Salary Range: $75,000 to
