The ideal candidate is one who loves cats & dogs, has excellent customer service skills, and 3+ years of front office administrative/office management experience. Our client is also seeking a candidate who is a flexible "team-player," and someone who can work one Saturday/month.***If you have the required experience, are available to interview today, and start tomorrow (FRI 4/2) or (MON 4/5), please send an updated resume in an Microsoft Word doc to Ally Dutra & follow up with a phone call to introduce myself - .RESPONSIBILITIES:-Leading overall office administration-As the Office Manager you are the face, eyes and ears of the organization with the public, volunteers, staff and the Board of Directors-Implementing existing policies and procedures related to operations (e.g., safety procedures)-Work with the Board Operations Team, BOD members and other volunteers to develop new policies and procedures as needed-Maintain SOPs associated with the Center-Handling copy services, word processing, mail and distribution services, office reception, office equipment, utility services and communication systems-Evaluating and improving office production-Assisting in developing and revising office policies and procedure for improved work flow-Responsible for purchasing all office supplies-Insure the safety of the Center, its animals, volunteers and staff-Obtain guidance from the Board Operations Team when questions arise from volunteers-Identify maintenance needs at the Center- Obtain appropriate approval through the Board Operations Team, and coordinate work as neededJob Requirements:-2-3+ years of Office Management experience-Well-founded grasp of database management-Solid understanding of proofreading-Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external partners-Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)-Ability to effectively troubleshoot and problem solve-Manage Vendor Relationships experience required-Provide excellent customer service to all clients/customers-Someone who thrives working in a fast-paced office environment-Great attitude, no job is too big or too small-Fantastic organizational skills and great follow through on tasks-Detail-oriented-Ability to work in rapidly changing environmentOfficeTeam, a Robert Half Company, matches professionals in the administrative field with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary and temporary-to-full-time basis.
