We have an incredible opportunity for an experienced SBA Leader to create a brand new division for a De Novo Bank who is exceeding all financial projections in beautiful Sarasota, FL. If you have experience building a lending department from scratch, either SBA or a new line of business, then consider an opportunity where you will work directly with the CEO/President and Board of Directors to replicate your success and/or reach new heights by expanding your career in this key Executive Leadership role.

Highlights of this opportunity include:

• An opportunity to design the SBA department the way you see fit inclusive of operations and sales.
• P&L and other pro forma calculations already established allowing you to plug and play or use your expertise to tweak as you envision to best achieve success.
• An uncapped compensation plan driven initially by your own production but quickly leading you to expand and hire in a calculated and profitable manner to maximize both yours and the bank's ROI.
• As the profits from this department grow so does your income. Full P&L responsibility and participation in the profits.
• All processes are currently outsourced allowing you to hit the ground running with a plan to take inhouse in a strategic manner over time.
• Great teammates who collaborate and work as a team to support each other's efforts.
• A seat at the table. While you will oversee the SBA department, your ideas, strategies and opinions are important to ensure long term growth and profitability for the bank. Your expertise is welcome and needed.
• Position reports directly to Bank CEO who has previous SBA lending experience including building prior Bank's SBA lending department into a Preferred Lender.
  Our client requests the following credentials:
  
  
  • At least 5 years experience SBA Sales and Operations experience with 7a, USDA and to a lesser degree 504 since other bank lenders also produce those loans.
  • At least 10 years experience combined to include commercial lending with strong credit skills.
  • A "team player" attitude. Someone driven to succeed but not at the cost of relationships, both internal and external.
  • A proven track record of building out an SBA department hitting assigned KPI's and financial goals.
  • Relocation required to Sarasota, Florida.
