Job Description:
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical
Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a
specialized field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP, etc.), or
equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience working in a
display test development technical environment, or 3 years of
experience with an advanced degree. 3 years of experience with data
analysis in an optics/optoelectronics research and development or
manufacturing environment. Experience with display metrology, color
science, visual perception, and image analysis algorithms.
Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Electrical
Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field
(e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP). 5 years of experience in
display systems testing, calibration, image analysis, and
familiarity with machine vision systems. Experience deploying,
validating, and debugging display hardware test systems. Experience
with microLED or other emissive display technologies and low-noise
electrical measurements. Experience in test software development
and scripting using tools like Python and SQL. Experience in
statistical data analysis and modeling using JMP or Minitab. About

salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$231,000 bonus
equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level,
and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by
work location and additional factors, including job-related skills,
experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can

more about benefits at Google . Responsibilities Identify, develop,
and implement methods and algorithms for display characterization,
including optics, image processing, and color science. Validate,
maintain, and improve microLED display test stations for various
form factors to support the uLED technology roadmap. Debug and
troubleshoot complex electrical, optical, mechanical, and software
issues, identifying root causes to improve test systems and better
understand our displays. Determine critical metrics impacting
display performance and analyze experimental data using tools like
Python and SQL. Clearly communicate results to the broader team.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., optical test,
CMOS design, software, and data teams) to define test
specifications, implement calibration methodologies, and optimize
test time.
