Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical
Engineering, Quality Engineering, or equivalent practical
experience. 8 years of experience in quality, reliability or
product engineering. 4 years of experience in SSD manufacturing
processes. Experience with hardware in industries such as servers,
automotive, or aerospace. Experience with SSD technologies,
including SSD test processes. Ability to travel up to 15% of the
time as required. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD
in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or a related
engineering field. 12 years of experience in manufacturing,
quality, or product engineering for hardware technology and
systems. Experience in technical leadership, project management,
and executive communication. Experience with Dynamic Random-Access

experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to lead the Solid State Drive
(SSD) Commodity as part of a critical team responsible for ensuring
the robustness, longevity, and performance of our hardware systems.
As an SSD Supplier Quality Engineer, you will work in collaboration
with Suppliers, Hardware Designers, Commodity Managers,
Manufacturing Engineers, and Data Center teams. You will set and
manage SSD component quality and reliability standards, drive
supplier factory certification audits, and lead component and
manufacturing site qualifications. You will actively manage NPI and
sustain quality, continuous improvements, and ensure lessons
learned are actioned back to suppliers and partner teams. You will
drive true root cause failure analysis and systemic corrective
actions with comprehensive preventative actions. You will extract
and analyze data from supplier facilities, Google production lines,
and Google data centers to verify performance and drive

salary range for this full-time position is $144,000-$209,000 bonus
equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level,
and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by
work location and additional factors, including job-related skills,

Corrective Action (RCCA) fundamentals and collaborate with teams to
help them understand and apply RCCA tools and principles and
analyze or understand failure to resolve issues. Define and execute
data collection activities for technical issues. Drive process
design, and qualification activities of a manufacturing process for
a component, part, or product. Own the supplier quality and
reliability for Solid-State Drive (SSD) components, from New
Product Introduction (NPI) through end-of-life. Develop and
implement advanced quality plans and process controls (e.g.,
Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Design of Experiments
(DOE), Capability Process Index (CPK), etc.) to mitigate risks.
