We are seeking a highly skilled Electrician Level II to support advanced automated manufacturing equipment in the Blue Water Area. This is a hands-on, temp-to-hire opportunity for a technician who takes pride in minimizing downtime, improving reliability, and maintaining safe electrical systems. Why Join Us? Competitive skilled trades pay at $38.25 per hour Shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift All shifts available Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term stability Work with advanced robotics, automation, and CNC systems Be part of a reliability-focused, team-driven maintenance department Key Responsibilities: Operate mobile CMMS device for reactive calls and preventive maintenance assignments Troubleshoot PLC communication protocols (Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, Ethernet) Diagnose and repair automated manufacturing equipment Troubleshoot CNC control systems Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Install and adjust light curtains and machine safety systems Install and program laser distance sensors Troubleshoot machine safety circuits Perform robotics functions including homing robots, pendant navigation, editing touch points, and saving/restoring programs Support pyrometry processes including shim tests and furnace operation sequences Perform electrical preventive maintenance inspections including wire harnesses, filters, and cable management Comply with ARC flash regulations and all electrical safety standards Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) initiatives Provide input for preventive maintenance reviews and machine reliability improvements Train and mentor new electricians Collaborate with management, team members, and outside vendors Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner What We’re Looking For : Minimum of 5 years verified industrial electrical experience Candidates with 3 years who demonstrate full proficiency may be considered Strong troubleshooting skills with automated manufacturing systems Experience with robotics, CNC controls, and PLC communication protocols Understanding of conveyors, automation systems, and mechanical functionality Must meet state electrical requirements Up-to-date training on modern manufacturing equipment Must have own tools (excluding specialty tools) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels Preferred Qualifications: Manufacturing experience Automotive industry experience German and/or Spanish language skills Why Work for Qualified Staffing?
