This role supports commercial and industrial refrigeration systems—installation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance—helping clients keep critical systems running reliably. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems, walk?in coolers, freezers, and HVAC refrigeration components. Install compressors, condensers, evaporators, and associated controls; perform system start?ups and commissioning. Troubleshoot electrical controls related to refrigeration systems. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and document service reports, parts used, and recommendations. Respond to emergency service calls and provide clear, professional communication with customers and site teams. Ensure compliance with safety standards, refrigerant handling regulations, and company procedures. Qualifications 3 years of commercial refrigeration or HVACR field experience. Strong hands?on skills with compressors, valves, brazing, leak detection, and refrigerant recovery. Experience with basic electrical troubleshooting. EPA 608 certification is a plus; additional HVACR certifications is a plus. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel across the Bay Area.
