Industrial Engineer to our Transportation team in the beautiful
Sacramento, California to ensure on time delivery of open purchase
orders to support production demand.

You would be responsible for:
--- Planning equipment layout, workflow, and accidental prevention
measures, and the respective processes and guidelines of
production.
--- Contributing to budget development and ensures adherence to
agreed budgets in Industrial Engineering.
--- Collecting, entering, and extrapolating traffic movement data.
The collection and entry of data will require the use of Microsoft
Excel and Microsoft Power Apps and preparing this data for
consumption across several departments.
--- Traffic Scheduling - Responsible for communicating with vendors
to set up crane's operations and heavy haul trucks for transport.
This will include tracking all costs, including per department
contract etc. This will also include the collection and entry of
data will require the use of Microsoft Excel and preparing this
data for consumption across several departments.
--- Space usage analysis, weekly reports to realize the continually
changing landscape and the useable ground to store vehicles, this
will also include the collection and entry of data will require the
use of Microsoft Excel and preparing this data for consumption
across several departments.
--- Forecasting analysis, ability to extrapolate the data from the
above 3 analyst points to realize a reasonable forecast based on
the cross section of data, this will also include the collection
and entry of data will require the use of Microsoft Excel and
preparing this data for consumption across several departments.
--- Developing and Implementing performance measurement and
improvement initiatives.
--- Performing inspections and investigations and analyzing
technical manufacturing or logistics processes and sequences.
--- Ensuring process documentation, and trains related
manufacturing or staff maintenance.
We would be impressed if you had:
--- A Degree in Industrial Engineering/ Mechanical Engineer with a
background of data analysis, preferably having 3-5 years of
experience.
--- Strong technical knowledge and experience with analyzing
data.
--- Result-orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against
project deadlines.
--- Tenacious and assertive driver who escalates in supplier
organization as well as internally.
--- Ability to understand, evaluate & monitor supplier
capacity.
--- Analytical, numerically astute with proven problem-solving
abilities
--- Strong written & oral communication and interpersonal
skills.
--- Highly skilled at building and maintaining effective and
productive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
--- Ability to lead others to solve complex problems and use
sophisticated analytical thinking to exercise judgment and identify
innovative solutions.

The pay for this position is $27/hour. This is a nonexempt position
and is eligible for overtime pay. The actual wage offered may be
lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience,
knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic
location.
