As part of the Platform Technologies Team, the AI/ML Senior Technologist is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML models to be implemented in hardware to solve complex problems and add significant value to DCS products, processes, and customers.The main responsibilities cover the following:

• Design and implementation of ML solutions using a variety of techniques (and inferences) adapted to the targeted problem and depending on the profile of data, the number of features, and the required pre-processing.
• Build and train these models using pertinent datasets.
• Integrate these models in the architecture of the silicon, or the firmware, or even in the production flow.
• Scope and justify the needed resources, tools, and timeline for a successful execution and outcome.
• Keep being updated on the latest advances in the AI/ML technologies and incorporating the ones that pertain to DCS products and the expansion of their use models.
• Share knowledge and update the organization on

  • Best practices
  • Results and Impact of AI/ML and
  • Make recommendations for planned or suggested improvements. Requirements/Qualifications:
    • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer , Cognitive, or Data Science, or equivalent practical experience with a minimum of 12.5+ years of industry related experienceThe ideal candidate should possess:
    • a strong mathematical and technical background in data science/AI/ML
    • a solid experience with programming languages such as Python and deep learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or others)
    • a strong communication skillset, problem solving, and a desire to share learning with team members and junior engineers, and
    • the ability to work independently but effectively in a team-oriented environment.Travel Time:25% - 50%Physical Attributes:Hearing, Seeing, Talking, Works Alone, Works Around OthersPhysical Requirements:25% Walking;75% Sitting; 100% Inside; M-F 8-5Pay Range:The expected base salary range for this position, if filled in California, is $75,000 - $232,000, dependent on specific skills and work experience.
