Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Quality Engineer for their
manufacturing facility in the San Francisco Bay
area.Responsibilities
Lead and manage the plant's quality program
Ensure assembly operations meet company and customer
specifications.
Manage new processes and implementation in regards to new product
launches
Participate on plant continuous improvement initiatives
Participate in customer meetings
Participate in quality reporting and management review process.
Provide process improvement recommendationsQualifications
BS in Engineering or a technical degree preferred; STEM degree
required
3+ years
experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Quality Engineering in a
manufacturing environment.
Experience with formal Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement
projects
Six Sigma Green Belt training or certification highly
preferred.
Strong computer skills for Minitab or other statistical software
