Azure Architect to support upcoming needs with our federal
customers.---
Our IT Modernization division is an information technology and
management consulting department that offers integrated, strategic
solutions to its public and private-sector clients. ICF has the

high-performance IT engines to support all aspects of our client's

Position Description ---

continue to expand our services and to support this growth, we are
looking for Cloud Engineers to join our Digital Modernization
Division (DMD).
In addition, we provide technical assistance services to US
Civilian Federal Agencies and their partners, such as the
Department of Health and Human Services, the Food and Drug
Administration, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC).---
We are looking for a customer-focused Architect/ Engineer who is
passionate about helping large government agencies modernize and
transform through pragmatic enterprise strategies.--- The projects
and services supporting the CDC meet the agency's Data
Modernization Initiative (DMI) objectives . In addition, you will
be working on multiple projects simultaneously, interacting with
all levels of ICF staff and CDC OCIO and C/I/O stakeholders.---
General Description:--- ---
The ideal candidate will be able to move smoothly between tactical
and strategic conversations with technical, business, and mission
leadership. You will be critical in helping our team formalize,
standardize, and mature our cloud services offerings. You
understand the importance of security and believe risk management
should be tackled early and not as an afterthought. You have been
in the trenches helping teams obtain authority to operate (ATO) and
can have intelligent discussions around NIST recommendations and
security controls. You are passionate about automation and creating
an environment that fosters DevSecOps approaches. You articulate
the connection from technical services to business capabilities and
help client organizations navigate the tension between evolving
traditional IT processes and modern techniques. You also understand
that success is not about being a hero; it's about developing a
capable team to deliver the right solutions to our
customers.---
Key Responsibilities: ---
Lead Azure Cloud Navigation efforts. Provide technical expertise
for Architecting solutions responsive to federal mandates,
priorities, and goals.------
Develop future-state roadmaps, drive consensus and proof of
concepts, and demonstrate viable paths to modernizing applications
to the cloud .---
Translate business needs into application solution architecture
requirements, making frequent use of diagrams to help communicate
with broad audiences ------
Inform the balance of security, tech debt, feature, and defect work
------
Estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives
------
Drive continuous improvement ------
Install, operate , and maintain cyber security systems.---
Contribute to the design of existing and future platforms.---
Effectively and efficiently troubleshoot the system and the
infrastructure that supports it.---
Routinely interact with clients and internal teams such as
developers and analyst teams.---
Required Skills include: ---
Must have previous experience working with any CDC agency
entity.
US Citizen or Green Card and must reside within the continental
US.
BS or higher in IT or similar Computer Science or IT degree.
3 + years of experience with all phases of the s oftware
development lifecycle.---
2 + years of experience architecting cloud Solutions and
application migration to the cloud .---
2 + years of experience with IT infrastructure, Cyber Security,
Data Analytics, and Digital Platforms.---
2 + years of experience in developing application architecture and
roadmap in the cloud, preferably Azure. ---
1+ years of basic experience with basic networking
technologies---
US Citizenship or Green Card required due to federal contract
requirements ---
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active CDC Public Trust
clearance ---
MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE
PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.)---
Preferred Skills include: ---
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect---
Experience in Data Architecture, integration, and migration---

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in
determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited
to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and
competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location,
education and certifications as well as contract provisions
regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The
pay range for this position is :
$82,673.00 - $140,544.00
