Job Description:

We believe this creates a good opportunity for someone to join a talented team of individuals solving some of today's energy and environmental challenges.Pay Range:65-78KSummary:Design, implement, and review the procedures and equipment involved in the manufacturing process. Plan the factory layout to optimize production. Assist with engineering projects as needed.Responsibilities: Review production processes and methods and advise management of current and future facility requirements Review facility layout and plan workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements Design fixturing and tooling for safe handling of heavy parts & equipment Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services and make sure that Manufacturer's procedures and instructions are followed to keep production equipment operational Develop and maintain a schedule and budget for assigned projects Provide reports on the status of project milestones and adjusts schedules accordingly Controls expenditures with limitations of project budget Identifies project staffing requirements and coordinates staffing with supporting organization managers Coordinates preparation and delivery of project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages Assigns and oversees project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and product testing Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications Coordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems Directs integration of technical activities and products Evaluates and approves design changes, specifications, and drawing releases Communicates with customers to provide project status reports and ensure customer needs are met Source components and write purchase requisitions Diligently follow all QMS policies, complete required documentation, and input required data into ERP systemRequirements: Excellent in the following skills: Fixturing, tooling, hoisting Analytical ability Reading and writing Communication MS Office Leadership Problem-solving aptitude Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field 1+ year of engineering and manufacturing experience Experience in pressure vessel manufacturing Working knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Code is a plus Previous experience working with heavy equipment is a plusJob Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 - $78,000.00 per yearBenefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insuranceSchedule: 8 hour shiftAbility to commute/relocate: Sacramento, CA 95815: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: One location
