DescriptionThe Senior Business Solutions Engineer plays a key
role in enabling Clark Pacific business teams to fully leverage
technology for improving business outcomes. They work with business
teams to define operating objectives and requirements, perform
research and designs, and document one or more solutions including
costs and value of each. Upon approval, the Business Solutions
Engineer builds and tests the solution and works with the business
team to train and support the use of the application.Essential
Duties and Responsibilities

level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with
staff, projects, and proprietary information.
--- Performs as a data scientist/database administrator and data
expert to define, maintain, and optimize data warehouse/data lakes
to connect and integrate data to create meaningful information for
--- Develops strategy, process, and recommendations for software
--- Responsible for technical design and development of business
applications and solutions.
--- Develops technical libraries, policies, and standards for
--- Serves as a data scientist/database administrator to connect
and integrate data silos to create meaningful information for
--- Analyzes and discovers business requirements and objectives.
Authors' requirement documents (functional and technical) ensure
alignment with solutions.
--- Provides effort, time, and cost estimates on proposed
solutions. Creates project plan and schedule.
--- Builds high-quality application solutions per the technical
--- Provides support and maintenance of application solutions.
--- Provides enhancements to existing applications as needed to
support changing business needs.
--- Contributes to technician knowledge base and creates help
sheets for users.
--- Works with Business Solutions and Infrastructure Teams to
solutions provided will fit into Clark Pacific's technology

communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the

--- Proven technical skills including software development,
database administration, business intelligence, and systems

promote, demonstrate, and communicate the mission, values, and core
competencies of Clark Pacific to others.
--- Able to exercise appropriate discretion when handling
confidential and/or sensitive information.Experience and
Education--- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is required.
--- Minimum 5 years experience in application development, database
administration, and data management.
--- Strong proficiency in database administration/data engineering
with Microsoft platforms such as MSSQL and MySQL is
--- Expertise in building data integrations between different
applications is required.
--- Experience using, extending, and configuring the Microsoft
Productivity Stack (Teams, SharePoint, Office 365, Power Apps,
Power Automate and Power BI) is required.
--- Experience writing and supporting Excel Macros (VBA) is
--- Experience with common programming languages including Python,
--- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Azure is
--- Experience with construction tools including Revit, Tekla,
Viewpoint, Bluebeam, and other applications used in
and construction strongly preferred.
