Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A middle
school in the Woodbridge, VA area is seeking a full-time School
Psychologist to join their team on site for the remainder of the
school year. This position offers an immediate start and is ideal
for candidates with prior experience in middle or high school
settings who hold active state licensure or certification.
Part-time candidates will also be considered. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluate student needs within
a middle school population. Collaborate with teachers,
administration, and parents to develop and implement individualized
education plans (IEPs). Provide counseling and intervention
services to support students social, emotional, and behavioral
development. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and
contribute to the development of school-wide mental health
initiatives. Maintain accurate records and comply with relevant
laws, regulations, and district policies. Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working in middle or high school environments.
Active state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist.
Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessment tools and
counseling techniques. Ability to work effectively in a
collaborative, school-based setting. Reliable transportation and
availability to work on site during regular school hours.
