live. Action Property Management, a premier management company, is
seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for our One Mission Bay
property in San Francisco. The Maintenance Technician under the
direction and supervision of the Chief Building Engineer, is
responsible for maintaining, correcting deficiencies, and/or making
repairs to all "common areas" within the Association as described
below. Continuous hands-on training will always be provided.
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM On-Call Every 2
Weeks Compensation: $30.00- $33.00 Per Hour (Depending on
Experience) Job Responsibilities: Patch and paint the common areas
of the building. Repair wallpaper in the common areas of the
building. Perform general cleaning of the engineering spaces. Clean
and paint non-operating mechanical equipment, which has been shut
down, locked out, and tagged by the Supervisor. Provide light
electrical duties, such as changing light bulbs. Show willingness
to learn to become a full-time Building Engineer. Have a working
knowledge of high-rise mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and
fire/life/safety systems. Operate, maintain sanitary sewer systems,
including sump pumps, basins, water closets, urinals and piping.
Inspect, test, troubleshoot and repair project mechanical,
electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems as directed by the Chief
Engineer. Perform a wide variety of complex tasks to assist in the
regular repair and maintenance activities including: preventive
maintenance, masonry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, boiler
inspections, and mechanical. Supervise the movement of third party
vendors and materials across the project. Perform monthly emergency
generator run. Assist in conducting preventive maintenance tasks,
including filter changes, lubrication, and inspections. Responsible
for general cleaning of the engineering spaces. Assist in
maintaining the pool and spa, including cleaning, chemical
treatments, and basic equipment operation. Update and close service
requests on building link and Limble. Emergency Response: Maintain
preparedness for emergency responses to floods, fires, power
outages, earthquakes, and other disasters. Respond promptly to
project emergencies. Teamwork & Customer Service: Be a team player
and contribute to the creation of an enjoyable, productive, and
safe work environment. Assist team members with tasks not strictly
related to this job description. Maintain customer service
standards as set by the Hospitality Department and General Manager.
Display high morale, integrity, loyalty, and professionalism at all
times. Be available for overtime in special circumstances to
complete projects or meet deadlines. Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of Maintenance experience, preferably in
hospitality or property management. Must be at least 18 years of
age and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Hands on experience or course work in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing,
