Job Summary:

As a CBRE Marketing Specialist, you will recommend and implement strategies to achieve marketing goals for the team. You will also be responsible for preparing and coordinating the distribution of proposals, presentations, and communication materials, as well as other administrative duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Builds a wide variety of template, company-sanctioned marketing materials that may include maps, advertisements, demographic reports and executive summary brochures for in-house and client presentations using sophisticated desktop, graphic, and mapping software.
  • Reviews collateral materials, proofreads content, ensures appropriate branding, and approves materials for final distribution.
  • Prepares presentations and proposals for new business development providing recommendations with a focus on ensuring that all materials meet established standards for branding and messaging.
  • Assists in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies and performs research and analysis to support those strategies.
  • Assists team in preparing various marketing materials as needed on an ad hoc basis.
  • Maintains and updates the marketing library of standard company boilerplates and other collateral materials.
  • Provides marketing education and training on tools, resources, as well as technical assistance to staff.
  • Provides quality control for mass e-mail broadcasts, ensuring that appropriate branding, content, and formatting are used.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

    No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

    Education and Experience:

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university and a minimum of two to four years of related experience and/or training.

    Interpersonal Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to internal clients. Ability to effectively present information.
    • Financial knowledge
    • Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages.
    • Reasoning Ability
    • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

      Other Skills and Abilities:

      • Intermediate skills with various software programs such as Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn web publishing platforms.

      • Decisions are made with an understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and timelines. Responsible for setting own project goals. Errors in judgment may cause a short-term impact to co-workers and supervisors.

        CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $50,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $60,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
