**Overview**
Mercy McMahon Terrace is located adjacent to Mercy General Hospital
in the heart of East Sacramento. By providing quality care services
through its assisted living program, along with the
maintenance-free lifestyle available with independent living,
residents at Mercy McMahon Terrace are free to focus their energy
on living their life to the fullest. With nurses on staff for 24
hours a day, seven daays a week, the care at Mercy McMahon Terrace

**Responsibilities**
**Position Summary:**
Under the supervision and direction of the Assistant
Administrator,provides general reception and clerical duties for
Mercy McMahon Terrace,the Administrator and Assistant
Administrator.
**Core Duties:**
+ Answers telephones, screens and routes all calls, takingmessages
as appropriate.
+ Greets visitors and refers to the appropriate individuals.
+ Distributes incoming mail and processes outgoing mail.
+ Types routine correspondence.
+ Orders and distributes office supplies.
+ Provides photocopying support.
+ Schedules appointments as necessary.
+ Set up meetings as requested.
+ Provides master calendar of office activities.
+ Pulls necessary resident files for interviews.
+ Calls scheduled interviews to confirm time/place.
+ Greet prospective residents.
+ Respond to general questions' and provide information.
+ Schedules transportation, repair services, guest
meals,maintenance for residents.
+ Coordinates resident admission.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Two (2) years of clerical experience or any combination of
education and experience
+ Minimum typing skill of 45 WPM
+ Abilities, Knowledge and Skills:
+ Able to express or demonstrate an interest in working with a
senior population as well as staff
+ Ability to learn and perform resident care office procedures
according to the approved manual
+ Ability to speak, read and write English
+ General office procedures
+ Excellent telephone etiquette
+ Appropriate grammar, punctuation and spelling
+ Organization of work and adjustments of priorities
+ Taking instruction and following established procedures
+ Establishing and maintaining a cooperative working relationship
