We are looking for a positive individual who value customer service, and--possesses excellent writing and communication skills. The incumbent must be organized, efficient and willing to direct Office Assistants who receive, sort, count, process and deliver mail throughout the department and to other State Agencies using department vehicles. The duties include: staff scheduling; vehicle reservations and retrieval; assessing time sensitive workloads; completing a daily workload report; effectively writing responsive e-mails for customer concerns and complaints; setting a good example by practicing and reiterating unit and department policies and procedures; conducting interviews; arranging employee training; evaluating and reviewing employee performance and probation reports; making periodical quality control inspections of work; resolving employee issues verbally and in writing; preparing memorandum letters and documents; and processing return to work procedures and Worker Compensation claim kits.

Desirable qualifications: regular and reliable attendance.
