About the RoleAt Hinge Health, we're transforming the future of
health by enabling users participate in multiple treatment programs
simultaneously such as Chronic Musculoskeletal, Migraines, or
Women's Pelvic Health. As we continue to expand and refine these
multi-program experiences, we need a Senior Product Data Scientist
to provide data-driven insights and proactively shape the product
strategy for these programs.In this role, you'll partner with
cross-functional teams to drive product strategy through proactive
analysis and experimentation. You'll define and refine our data
models, taxonomy, and metrics, helping inform product decisions and
support the development of self-service tools for stakeholders
across the organization. Your work will directly impact how we
create tailored, efficient treatment plans for users across
different health programs.The ideal candidate is a product-focused
Data Scientist with strong analytical skills and experience in the
healthcare or wellness industry. You'll need to be proactive,
curious, and able to take ownership of product metrics and data
models to shape the next evolution of our multi-program
experience.Our stack: dbt, Mode, Python, SQL, Databricks, Airflow,
Statsig, Fivetran, AWSWhat You'll Accomplish
- Drive proactive analysis and machine learning to inform key
product decisions and the overall strategy for integrating and
expanding multi-program experiences.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to improve user
outcomes and the overall product experience.
- Own the development and optimization of taxonomies, metrics,
and data models that enable product teams to create scalable,
data-driven solutions for multi-program user experiences.
- Build self-service tools and dashboards to empower stakeholders
across the company to analyze and track performance metrics, user
outcomes, and engagement across various treatment programs.
- Construct and deploy predictive models to forecast user
behavior, treatment outcomes, and engagement across multiple health
programs, adjusting for different user segments and body
parts.
- Set and define clear, actionable product metrics to evaluate
the success of the multi-program experience and continuously
improve its impact on users.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define the
roadmap for new data features, ensuring seamless integration of new
treatment programs and body parts into the user experience.
- Build anomaly detection systems to flag potential issues or
underperformance in multi-program experiences, ensuring a
high-quality user experience across all health programs.
- Advocate for the product and data teams, ensuring that upstream
data architecture and taxonomy practices support the long-term
success of multi-program experiences.Hinge Health Hybrid ModelWe
believe that remote work and in-person work have their own

the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to
be in the office 3 days per week, for the full 8 hours of a typical
business day. The San Francisco office has a dog-friendly workplace
program.Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Product Analytics, or
related fields
- 5+ years of experience with Python and SQL
- Experience with building and automating reports and dashboards
for non-technical stakeholders using tools like Mode, Tableau, or
similar.
- Experience with productionalizing data models/ETLPreferred
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with machine learning and predictive
modeling
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Data Science, Economics,
Engineering, Healthcare, etc.)
- Background in healthcare, wellness, or a related field, with
experience in treatment program design or user
engagementCompensationThis position will have an annual salary,
plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a
guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on
factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work
location. The annual salary range for this position is
