Department Overview
Budget Analysis and Planning (BAP) manages UC's annual budget and
conducts long-range financial planning. BAP's role includes
analysis of the complex factors which influence the university's
budget, development of the annual budget requests to the State, and
coordination with the campuses on a wide variety of budget-related
issues. BAP advocates in support of the university's budget and
works with leadership from across the university system to
integrate local and UC-wide priorities into forecast and
planning.
Position Summary
Uses advanced concepts and University objectives to resolve highly
complex issues pertaining to the systemwide budget. This may
include developing and advancing policy positions through liaisons
with governmental staff. Assignments are typically complex or large
and include politically sensitive issues or content that are
critical to the institution, potentially requiring discretion and
leadership.

SPECIAL CONDITIONSThis position has been approved for a hybrid work
arrangement. The person hired must report to work on-site at UC's
Office of the President (UCOP) located in Oakland, CA, on Tuesdays
and Wednesdays, subject to change. The person hired will be
