Purpose of Position: This is an exciting opportunity to be an essential player in helping build out CPCAs Finance team. As a Finance Application Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our Finance department with its new cloud platform Sage Intacct. Incumbent will work closely with other members of the Finance team and department project leads with focus on the Sage Intacct integration. Youre excited about this opportunity because:Technical knowledge and a developing area of expertise in Sage IntacctPrimary team contact for user problems, testing, analysis, and problem resolution.Build & maintain technical application procedures.General ledger expert Experienced in preparing financial reports Were excited about you because of your:Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.Solid time management, problem solving and organizational skills. interpersonal and professional ability when engaging with vendors and partners.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong proficiency with Sage Intacct Cloud accounting, Microsoft Office (Outlook/Teams), Zoom, Dropbox and other applications.Project management skills, strategic mindset, and adaptability to frequent change in a fast-paced environment.Ability to implement, organize, and evaluate programs and projects.Ability to reconcile general ledgersHelpful attitude and collaborate with multi-departmental teams.Supports our efforts in the anti-racist justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion work space. Education and Experience:Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required or relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement. Minimum two years of accounting experience.
